When I say Falls, I’m not talking Niagara…
In October, these are dotted with bright foliage…..
And cascade gently down the hill.
No barrel required.
Which is good, because it’s a hard look to pull off.
Selfies you shoot into the sun so you can see your hands holding your phone reflected in your glasses are so much easier.
Did I mention there were rocks?
And tranquil pools…
As well as some pretty nice views?
Well there were.
And, what’s it like THIS week?

A wee bit colder…?

So pretty and peaceful. By the way, I love that your hubby always has his hands in his pockets, even in places where we mere mortals might want them free, for balance.

He’s a Retired Marine, he has earned the right to put his hands in his pockets. ๐

He did 22 years of never putting his hands in his pockets. Guess heโs making up for lost time!

Does he? Probably because it was cold and he didnโt bring gloves!

I love all the imagery. Sadly, the water pipe looks so out of place in this rustic woodland area.

It did… but Iโm sure it serves a purpose.

I like seeing the water move along the stream. Such a pretty place to visit. You do get around & I mean that in a good way, btw.

If I read enough posts here, I am pretty sure I will eventually see every rock in the entire world…

I can still remember my kids (when they were kids) trying to navigate those rocks on a vacation trip many moons ago. Fortunately, we left with no broken bones.
P.S. If you ever go there, I think hubby would also enjoy ROADSIDE AMERICA, about 20 miles down the road (I-78) in eastern PA.

While hubby has a thing for junk I think you have a thing for rocks BUT you don’t have a rock garden–time to start building your own falls!!

Great idea!
But we do have 3 stone walls…. and whatโs a stone but a rock by a different name.

Quite fetching in that barrel, but I think the skin tone would be a lot bluer in November. Barrels be a bit drafty …
