Alright, that’s a lie.
It’s just me snapping shots from the window. But that’s not a snappy title… so get over it.
Our fox is coming every night now.
And sometimes he/she brings a friend.
They’re such beautiful creatures.
And wonderful at keeping the mouse population under control.
As you can see from the bird feeders, it’s Baltimore Oriole time.
They’re gorgeous, but quick.
And catching a good shot is rare.
We put out oranges and grape jelly, which they adore.
Of course, so does everyone else.
A raccoon comes in at midnight and strips the jelly…
And this hairy woodpecker makes short work of the oranges.
Our resident chucker is still here.
Enjoying apples.
And salad scraps.
Life is good in my little corner of the world.
The fox is beautiful. You do a lovely critter cam.

Great photos! Including the oriole. We apparently have its cousin the Bullock’s oriole – also orange – here in Idaho but I have yet to see one. But maybe that’s because I haven’t been putting grape jelly out in a feeder! I had no idea!

They adore grape jelly. Put it out when you see the first one in the spring, you’ll be flooded with visitors.

We know hubby likes rusty old stuff, but does he like the critters? After all, the foxes appear to be partly rust-colored, if not old.

He likes them all. Except the red squirrels… destructive little bastards.

I tell my husband that all the time. Should have caught a baby last year and made a pet.

Those are great photos! I have never really seen a good photo of what a fox looks like before. Have a good day today.

The fox and Orioles are gorgeous! Would love to have either one come to my yard instead of the skunk.

We have a skunk family as well, but they only come at night which makes window photography problematic.
