Which is why we have an entire drawer dedicated to cat toys.

He loves his toys long and hard … and his favorite mouse is looking a little worse for wear these days.

But then so am I, so I shouldn’t judge.
His favorite new thing to do is carry a ball to a spot under the coffee table….

And then wind himself around a leg.
.
.
He goes around and around in a circle and it’s quite comical to watch.

Until I took a closer look and realized most of the coffee table legs now look like this…

When I got my first dog he ate a good chunk of my new dining room table.

He’s so cute.
One of my dogs used to lay under my dining room chairs and chew on the legs. I’d hear a gnawing sound and sure enough, I’d find her chewing away. It didn’t last long. Once she settled in to the home, she gave up nervous gnawing and just started lounging on everything with her feet up in the air.

Surely husband has some rusty old metal milk cans and/or spittoons which your coffee table legs could be set in to protect them from Lord Dudley.

Who’s concerned about table legs? Clearly, only Dudley… so he should be allowed to decorate to his will!
I’ve lot a vintage red velvet sofa to cat redecorating. Such is life.
