Happy November

.

Temperatures are dropping, as are all the pretty autumn leaves. Late fall is setting in and winter won’t be far behind. Pumpkins will be tossed … but before you do, consider this:

.

.

Critters love pumpkins. And if you aren’t blessed with chickens? Please cut them in half and toss them in your nearest woods. Many creatures can’t cut through the rind, but they love the juicy interior.

.

.

Funny, and very true. I’ve never canned a single thing in my life and don’t intend to start now.

.

.

If you’re tempted to wear these on Thanksgiving? Please… for the love of all that’s holy… post pictures.

  1. We had our Thanksgiving in October, of course, and one of the big things in Canada this year was giving pumpkins to zoo animals. Everyone seemed to love them, from alpacas to zebras, and most everything in-between.
But, Rg, why no mention of the lady with one leg? It”s nt polite to talk about handicaps, of course, but her stance looks amazingly stable, as if the second leg was photoshopped out for some reason…
Maybe some kind of test to see how the suit and dress blind the observer from an obvious problem?

      1. I had to do a doubletake, but yep, she only has one leg. Definitely photoshopped, I think. (WordPress wants me to say photos hopped, lol. Not even a good placed to put a space!)

  2. “Nearest woods”… Northern Calif?? I only had mini pumpkins this year. I tossed them into some open dirt on the off chance the seeds survive.

I’d def wear those outfits if someone GAVE them to me!
