So much prey, so little leash….

.

Walking Lord Dudley Mountcatten has been interesting lately.

.

.

Woodchuck babies are on the move and seem to pop up every time we turn around. Add a few grey squirrels and his Lordship doesn’t know who to chase first.

.

.

That’s one confused feline right there.

.

.

The woodchucks may be more plentiful right now….

.

.

But it’s the squirrels that drive him to distraction. After 30 minutes of active stalking and cackling ..

.

.

It was time for a nap in the shade.

  1. The squirrels in our area…I swear they look both ways before crossing the roads…and then go across as soon as a moving car is near. No common sense. Their “nuttiest” activity is reserved for the Fall however, when they try to outrun vehicles while also more-carefully managing newly-found nuts in their jaws.
