.
Walking Lord Dudley Mountcatten has been interesting lately.
.

.
Woodchuck babies are on the move and seem to pop up every time we turn around. Add a few grey squirrels and his Lordship doesn’t know who to chase first.
.

.
That’s one confused feline right there.
.

.
The woodchucks may be more plentiful right now….
.

.
But it’s the squirrels that drive him to distraction. After 30 minutes of active stalking and cackling ..
.

.
It was time for a nap in the shade.
.
The squirrels in our area…I swear they look both ways before crossing the roads…and then go across as soon as a moving car is near. No common sense. Their “nuttiest” activity is reserved for the Fall however, when they try to outrun vehicles while also more-carefully managing newly-found nuts in their jaws.

Luckily we live in the country with plenty of woods, meadows and lawns. There’s no need for them to battle traffic here, not with the daily buffet I lay out.

Is that even possible?

Yes. He’s extremely over worked.

Are there no skunks around your property who might cure Lord Dudley of wanting to chase every critter he sees? 😀

We have nightly skunk visitors but they’re only here after Dudley is in bed.

Oh my gosh. He’s the most gorgeous feline! He has so many chasing options, I understand the nap.
