Every time I thought he was almost finished, I’d check back to find he’d removed what he previously laid and reworked the section.

There have been times I’ve tried to be perfect executing a project and my wife will tell me to just let it go as is…and other projects where I’ve followed her recommendation and then questioned about why I didn’t try to make it perfect? And I am sure if you asked her, she’d say the same about me! We make sure to agree on a project before we start, but we do run into the “perfection” curse a lot.
