It started when the husband and I dropped by our local pub and had clam chowder for lunch. This was an oddity because they rarely make it.
The clam-athon continued when this story popped up in my news feed.

I love clams but not in any type of mayo…or whipped or whatever. I don’t even want to know why they put the cards in the jar of clamonaise. Seriously whet’s next, Musslenaise, scalopnaise, sea-urchinaise, sea-slugnaise? I mean I could go on and on, but I won’t. Good try there Clamonaise. FML now I’m craving fried clams, DAMN YOU CLAMONAISE!!!!

Yes I have and I love them!! I love clams period but not in clamonaise…..lol. I also have had linguini in white clam sauce with clams throughout and it was sooo good.

Clam-o-naise sounds awfully close to what I used to know as clam dip, which was good on a cracker. Now, though, I think I’d only want a very fresh clam. Or one in chowder, which is also good with crackers.
