A cat and his mouse is a beautiful thing.

Lord Dudley Mountcatten hasn’t caught a live one in quite a while but he does enjoy sleeping with his toy version.

On a recent trip to the orthopedist I began wondering if he has voodoo doctor credentials.

Lord Dudley, you’re absolutely precious. Jason, you’re not. Lol

Exactly! The birds are cute too! I laughed pretty hard because my youngest son, his wife, AND my tiny granddaughter all wear crocs!

I’ve never worn them, and have sworn an oath I never will.

This applies to L.L. Bean boots as well.

I’ve never worn crocs and never would. They look like they would make your feet stink and then spread it around through the holes.
Lord Dudley, far too noble and dignified ever to be called “The Dudmeister”, is really showing his quality by protecting his mouse. Archie and Betty will slap one around the house, but Otto’s tiger is his little friend. He protects me when I’m sleeping, too.
Crystal femur? Want one BAD.

His Lordship is absolutely to cute for words, and his little pink cat beans are as well! Charlie has about 50 of those nip mice and I’m constantly fishing them out from under the couch, corners where he can’t get to and ironically the shower in my bathroom. Ugh birds, they may look cute but they are all rats with wings, except for the regal ones you know, eagles, hawks and stuff. But blackbirds, crows and pigeons, rodents of the sky!

He has two favorite mice that are always MIA. I’ve bought more fake mice in the last year than I have in 40 years of cat ownership, it’s nuts.
But … rats with wings? That’s a bit harsh.

It’s not harsh, they are. I have blackbirds all over my neighborhood pooping on cars, eating cat food meant for the outside cats. Harassing those cats to get their food. I’ve taken to a pellet gun to shoot them since they are so aggressive, rats with wings I’m telling you. Well maybe not in your neck of the woods but that’s what they are in mine.

Put some catnip in a sockette and sew the whole shut. You will never have to buy another toy mouse. And give him an open cardboard box. No more need for cat beds.
I cannot believe anyone hates birds. Birds are people too.

His Lordship does not care for boxes, or bags. And only certain catnip mice will do, others are abandoned. He’s a very discriminating feline.

His Lordship looks totes adorbs with the Royal Mouse. Quite the pair. I remember when my cat brought freshly-dead mice to our doorstep like we wanted them. I prefer the stuffed kind as shown here.

When we first adopted him, His Lordship caught quite a few mice. He did not kill them however…. apparently he’s a pacifist.

I agreed with him–have never worn and/or bought a pair (or even a single one!)

The pic of Lord Dudley is so endearing…he’s living a great life.
The birds are literally flocking together!
Crocs are the most hideous things invented.

We should all be so lucky to live his lordship’s life.

Mango and Cheddar have that exact same mouse! If I’m not mistaken, there’s a little interior pocket for catnip, which they rather enjoy.
