The husband is still hard at work down in the basement.

.
And has turned the proverbial as well as literal corner.

Although safety is clearly not a high priority.

Does our basement need a ceiling? No.
.

.
But it’s certainly getting one.
.

.
And a white one at that.

Lord Dudley Mountcatten? He seems baffled by the strange noises rising up through the heating vents and is keeping a close eye (ear?) on the progress.

Wow…….the hubs is REALLY bored, lol.

I mean, I guess if it makes him happy it’s worth it, right?

So, don’t fault hubby for what even the gods can’t cope with! 😀

Well, when you put it like that.

That’s an interesting long and narrow room down there. Doesn’t seem very practical, so OF COURSE it should have a nice white ceiling!

It’s not a room, just part of one. When the previous owners bumped out the living room they put a full basement underneath.

I might have asked this before, but I do hope you have a good life insurance policy on him; he’s a risky one.
I’m giggly at Dudley eyeballing the vents!

The sad thing is he never learns. A few days after I took that picture I heard a big crash, went running downstairs and found he’d fallen trying to move from one ladder to another without getting down. Good thing he has a hard head.
