We haven’t had a nice base of snow in so long I find myself walking around the property simply to enjoy the glorious whiteness.

A path was cut to the man cave/Barn Mahal because, well…

The beer and alcohol live there.

I need to take his Lordship back outside now that we have some accumulation.

I love when the snowfall gently envelops the trees. It’s clean… and peaceful.

When I fail to shovel off the deck after the first storm? I regret it. Because now it’s probably going to stay that way till spring.

The birds like our deck railing and land in certain spots to eat their seeds even when the railings are covered in snow.

I liked a lot of things about living in the south, but lack of true fall and winter wasn’t one of them ..

I would be LOST without a proper winter! I would find it hard to lose ANY of the seasons 🤓

🤩 It is beautiful when it remains untouched. It’s 74 degrees here in my part of Texas….and I’m okay with that, lol.

Is that all you have? We’ve had 11 feet so har this winter and it is still falling. It is like driving through a canyon going down our street.

Our winters aren’t winter anymore. This was our first and only “big” storm and it’s already melted down to half. Going to be in the 40’s all week.

If it weren’t for the pix (and knowing you), I might suspect that saying “walking around the property simply to enjoy the glorious whiteness” means you’re a MAGA Republican….sort of like my puns make me a MAGA (Make America Groan Again) blogger. 😉

Snow is nature’s way of covering up all the things humans do to wreck the world. Unfortunately, it only hides –not fixes.
