.
I saw this on a passing vehicle the other day and I have to admit on first glance my mind went to a bad place…
.

.
And while I’ve never even considered moving to New Mexico?
.

.
A want ad like that could change my mind.
.

.
For all the clueless seafood consumers out there. Always choose the pink scallops.
.

.
And finally… is it me? Or is this hat mannequin I saw at a vintage clothing shop a little too happy?
.
The mannequin looks like something you’d find next to Norman Bates’ mother in an attic…

In her younger days, yes.
There… or a blow up doll sex shop.

For the life of me, I don’t think I’ve ever been given a choice between scallops, either at the store or at a restaurant. Maybe that’s a coastal thing and we landlocked folks have to just take what we’re given?
Either way, I love scallops. I call them the Beef Tenderloin of the Sea.
P.S. How the hell do they know that one color is a girl and the other color is the boy? How do those things even mate?

When I buy seafood at a market or the grocery store I always ask for the pink ones. As to how they know the sex? I have no idea.

I have one I need to post similar to the first one.

Well that scallop news is interesting. I love scallops but I never thought about the pink scallop was any different until now. Of course the female scallop is sweeter, it hasn’t hit menopause yet and when it does, watch out, lol. But then again what do I know of scallops or sea food in general, as much as I love it, I live in a part of the state that’s landlocked so, yeah.

While I always knew the pink were better… I admit I never knew they were female. But pre menopausal for sure. Otherwise they’d be burning up with hot flashes and overcooked!

I dunno, but scallops are tasteless to me … my mind went to the same places as yours did with the mannequin and pink decal. As a native New Mexican who watched his home state turn into a Wokee paradise, it is good to see that the Fish & Game people don’t seem to be infected with wokism …

I adore scallops, but you’re right they do have a delicate flavor.

Male scallops mean all business. If I want sweet, I just pick up a Mars Bar.

Tough and leathery? Alright for men, but not what I want in a scallop.

Now I want scallops. I think the mannequin had cataract surgery and is seeing reality for the first time in years wearing those spiffy eyeglasses.

With the state of the world today I suppose the shock is understandable.

Perhaps the mannequin is just getting ready for a pink scallop? I think she’ll have to take her glasses off first…

She’s definitely ready for something.

Looking at her face, she may already have had it!

Probably happy because she just ate a pink scallop.

Perhaps. But I eat them and have never had that reaction…

I’ve never heard of or seen a pink scallop, but I love the white ones.

Look for pink next time you go to a seafood market. If you can even get them out there…
