Yay baby chucks! If it was pay-per-view, I’m not sure I’d sign up for a birthing view. I like viewing ’em after they’re “out.”

There’s an itty bitty skunk coming to my yard/porch this week. It looks way too small to be away from it’s momma but doing okay. I want to pet it sooooooo bad!!!

I think they’re like rattlesnakes – unable to control themselves. If not, I’ll be petting that baby!! As is, I stay really still so it can wander – and I toss food nearby so it can stay mostly hidden.

We have skunks visit almost every night. They root around under our bird feeders and share the food I put out for the foxes.

I don’t have a crittercam right now but I’m seeing the baby every night. Last night I saw an old opossum and tonight I saw a raccoon. Soo… business as usual here!
