Oh my that is a gorgeous pie! I’m a good baker but I never mastered pies and pies are my favorite thing! Vermont share those seasons, probably New Hampshire too…

That’s funny about mud season. That’s a hell of a lot of alcohol consumed. Nice pie. Food grilled over a volcano? Sounds wonderful.

I learned about mud season in New Hampshire. Also deer fly season, which I think is THE WORST.

My son, who grew up with minimal insects in SoCal, had such swelling from deer fly bites when we were in rural NH one summer. Almost a visit to ER!

I love the fact about the earth having a heartbeat or pulse, she is very much alive. I made a pecan caramel apple pie two weeks ago. Do I know what it tasted like? No, because my two oldest ate all of it before I had a chance 🤬. Nightly visitors, they are very robust, lol.
