.
We’re down to one woodchuck.
.

.
He visits morning and early evening and I oblige by providing treats.
.

.
On this particular day it was baby carrots and carrot shavings.
.

.
And though he munched them all….
.

.
From the look on his face?
.

.
It’s clear he would have preferred watermelon.
.
Who says animals can’t talk? He’s speaking volumes with that look! 🤣

He’s a grumpy little fellow.

Don’t cave to his intimidation! Sure, it’s only watermelon now. But keep giving in, and eventually, he’ll only settle … for human flesh!

That’s definitely not on the menu…

That’s what you think, feeding him healthy food so he can bulk up and get big and strong. Strong enough to crash through locked doors…

It would make great blog fodder.
If I lived to tell the tale…

He”d probably like to come in and catch the news with your hubby as well. That’ll give him something to be grumpy about!

I wonder if there’s a woodchuck DT?
For their sakes, I hope not…

I went to the grocery store the other day, and the green grocer gave me a bag of apples because they were going bad. He said at least I could throw them in the yard for the wildlife. Good idea! But right now I have a half eaten apple that a few bunnies and birds munch on.

I give the chucks apples, but the deer, raccoons and fox like them as well.

I through some out into the wash, outside our fence. They were gone right away. It’s the one inside the fence that is lingering. I may put on gloves and through it outside the fence.
