I like a good kosher dill with my sandwich now and then but I don’t actively search for the them on the internet… so why does my FB algorithm kick into high pickle gear every now and then?
.

.
I’m passing on the pickle minions.
.

.
And flights are for beer! Or occasionally, margaritas.
No pickles required.
.

.
Pickle slush?
Hard pass, no matter how cute the glass.
.

.
I will not.
.

.
Yay for me, I guess.
.

.
You know the seafood is fresh when…
🤣
.

.
Cow patty bingo without a cow? Where’s the fun in that…
.

.
A few weeks ago our lawn was a lush green…
.

.
And a veritable wildlife bonanza showed up for a nosh.
.

.
The gang was all there.
💕

Any post that starts with pickles has to be a good one!!! 😁
Now I’ll go back and read it.

How awesome to catch the whole gang in one shot!!!

It’s unusual. They tend to visit separately…

I love pickles but haven’t had one in years – aside from the odd pickle chip here and there – the salt and vinegar levels would require that I have 911 on speed dial. (every time you post ‘wildlife’ photos I wish you would update your phone – the newer ones have great long distance photo capabilities. Love those pics!)

The newest iPhone is a 17, I have a 13 pro max.
And I could have zoomed in closer but I wanted to get all the critters in the same shot.

I just for the heck of it, I asked AI.
It says the 17 is slightly better, but…
“There’s an important catch: your 13 Pro Max has a dedicated 3× telephoto lens, while the regular 17 doesn’t. So if you take lots of pictures of distant subjects—wildlife, children playing sports, scenery, etc.—your 13 Pro Max can actually be preferable.”

But the 17 Pro Max does – most people don’t think ANY version of the 17 is worth the bother (or money) I have a 16 Pro Max and it takes excellent pics – most folks think the 16 Pro (or Pro Max) is about the best Apple is going to do – and given my age it will be the last mobile I will buy. Still – I miss my ‘real’ camera – I had an elderly Nikon SLR and, while fading a bit, it still took better pics than my mobile. ( hadn’t thought about losing subject matter – so to speak- when zooming in Well, duh Grace!)

I miss real cameras as well. But you can’t beat the phones for ease and convenience. The price? Not so much. $1,400. That’s crazy.

I love pickles but would draw the line at a pickle slush. That’s quite a crew you have on your lawn. It is supposed to rain all day tomorrow. Fingers crossed as we sure do need it.

We had a pickle slushie with tajin at the state fair last week! I should have posted the pic. (Actually, it wasn’t our favorite, and we ended up dumping half of it…it was a little too sweet for our liking.)

You’re living in a Disney film!
I think of you every time I see a new, weird, pickle product.

I have no idea why I get all that stuff. I don’t search for it, I don’t click on it. Yet there they are…

I am fascinated by Mr. Pickles “Dillicious” Lemonade. Apparently it is not carried in our area, but there is always mail order. (Can you tell I’m easily influenced by marketing on occasion…?)

Mr. Pickles is no one to trifle with.

Wow, pickles are really having their day. Don’t worry, River. This, too, shall pass. 🥒

Dill is a nice flavoring for certain food dishes, but leave it out of my drinks, please!

Agreed. Stick to potatoes and fish. Stay out of my beer!
