It probably won’t surprise my regular readers to learn my husband is one of those people.
Free is his favorite word.. which is why he came home with one called the Maine Agricultural News the other day.
My husband, the man who’s never planted anything (other than free trees he lets die) in his life.
Here are a few fascinating highlights:

Color me proud. My state is one of the top 5 potato chip potato producers.
And lord knows I do my part to keep the Lays company in business.

The Pomological Society? There’s a sought after membership if ever I saw one.

For those who don’t know, Maine blueberries are highly prized and big business up this way.

But thanks to President Trump’s Chinese trade war, among other things… the berry news is decidedly blue.
And finally, disaster.

Maine craft brewers have cut back on the production of beer to make hand sanitizer?

nope. Not anymore. I made a decision this week I’m getting rid of a LOT of things. No more holding on HOPING I lose enough weight to wear it again. I’m done.

Wow, I need to stock up on blueberries….I love those things. As for beer brewers turning to making hand sanitizer, the same things happening here too…..😤.

Lightly salted plain is my classic go to, but I love me some Memphis barbecue, chicken and waffles and of course… biscuits and gravy.

I used to pick up those free “Independent” magazines, but since the internet has so much worthless stuff to read, I don’t anymore…well, almost not anymore. Sometimes. Maybe.

We pick up 4 island newspapers every week ~ The Islander, The SUN, The Ticket, and Longboat Observer. Most contain good PUZZLES ~ crosswords, sudokus, etc. 😀
And they provide a calendar of upcoming events of interest to us (but not now). We usually recycle them, unless we need them for a painting project of package stuffing.
