It seems odd that the plural of GOOSE is GEESE, but the plural of MONGOOSE is MONGOOSES. So, if a mongoose gooses two geese one of which gooses two mongooses, do you have a goose on the loose because two mongooses mis-guessed which goose to cook of the two geese goosed?
