The World Wildlife Fund’s symbolic adoption continues.
.
.
Cute candidates abound but you know this fellow will be left out in the cold.
.
.
No one will want to cuddle up with him on the couch. That dude needs a serious manicure.
.
.
Honey Badgers get a bad rap and sure, they’ve been known to viciously kill humans… but I’d still rather adopt one of them than Honey Boo Boo.
.

.
Most people find condors to be ugly birds, but come on…. he’s rocking that feather boa. It’s not an easy look to pull off.
.
.
And finally there’s the wombat, a much maligned creature. Sure he poops square cubes and has a two pronged penis….. but hey, none of us is perfect.
.
When the cuddliest choice is a wombat, you need to keep looking.

A year or two ago the Komodo was at the top of granddaughter #4’s cuddly list. If she were not so cute I would argue the point. Komodos have no cute. Merely highly infectious drool. What’s not to love ?

I’ve read they can grow to 10 feet long and 300lbs…. but can still outrun a human. So much for making it out the front door without feeding him.

Yeah… he’s pretty much a “one and only” pet.

I know a few people I want to send a Komodo dragon to for a Christmas present–that solves their presents!!

I want the sloth. The other ones, not so much. I’m all about cute when it comes to animals. Yes, I know that’s shallow.

I’ve always been attracted to the weirdos. Pangolins, warthogs, shoebill storks, armadillos….. the ones no one else loves.

I’d adopt the wombat and the red panda, Komodo dragons have attitude as do the condors, so a hard not to both of those.

Cuddly, no…but a Komodo dragon would make one hell of a burglar deterrent!

Might even keep those turkeys off your property, come to think of it…

To hell with turkeys. I’m wondering if they like squirrels…
