He uses our backyard bird feeders as a training ground for hunting, but that afternoon he was perfectly happy hanging out on the back deck railing.

Until he spied Lord Dudley Mountcatten stalking him from the window behind the couch.

Then it was bye bye birdie…

Has hubby used any of the lessons learned when you gave him ‘hawk lessons’ years ago?? Now maybe that he is retiring he can go out and train your visitor!!!

One thing about hawks: Don’t feed them after midnight. They won’t turn into horrible destructive monsters but it might upset their stomachs…

Ooh. The mice the Dudley-meister gets could be fed to this fellow. He’s got eyes….like a hawk….and has probably seen his Lordship leave good food go to waste. You could put them in the freezer…. I know, I know.
