.
Saturday afternoon, the deer and the snow showed up at the same time.
.

.
Our two little bowls of sweet grain don’t last long with a herd of 13 and there’s always a good deal of jostling for position. This includes outright kicking.
.

.
It’s hard to tell, but our buck has finally lost part of his rack.
.

.
And as the alpha male he usually gets a bowl to himself.

For your viewing pleasure, deer tv.

I never get tired of seeing pictures of these beautiful animals. Almost as exciting as you rock pictures! 😁

It’s been a long time since I posted any rock photos. Those were the days…

The buck shared his bowl better than the doe to his left. Maybe she is the matron of the herd? Great pics!

The buck has one youngster he shares with, and only one.

On the clip, I saw a lot but ‘herd’ very little. To add a little pizazz, maybe you should summon the ghost of Howard Cosell to do the play by play of the action.
As for my puns, you probably couldn’t find anyone to do them worse.

You can usually hear my husband rattling around in the background because no matter how many times I tell him to be quiet, he’s talking!

The first picture triggered a scene in my mind where you are spotted bringing out a bowl of food, and thousands of hungry deer, foxes, raccoons, wolves, woodchucks, squirrels, and maybe even lions and tigers and bears all come stampeding out of the woods to chow down!

To be honest, I wouldn’t mind that. As it is most run when they see me.
