I must say – that’s a fairly good looking skunk. Our skunks aren’t nearly so photogenic!

It’s quite close. Ten steps from the back deck, under the old clothesline pole that is now a bird feeder hanger.
Oddly enough, the skunks very rarely spray.

For the most part they get along very well. Although last year a fox trotted off with a baby woodchuck in its mouth .. so there are exceptions.

It’s strictly guest come first serve. Critters used to appear after dark, then early evening, then dusk. Now? The fox tries to beat the skunk and shows up at 5:00.
