Because the blog series are longer than the vacations.

.

I know I just got through blogging about our trip to the White Mountains of New Hampshire, but guess what? In the time it took me to do that… we took another trip to Vermont. And knowing the kind of detail I like to post about our trips, this series will probably last until Christmas.

So here we go, back to Northwestern Vermont…. where I found this helpful information shortly after crossing the border.

.

.

COW!

.

.

I’ve never swum with a cow, but now I kind of want to.

.

.

Back in Jeffersonville, these wonderful silos greeted us.

.

.

In Stowe? It was a truckload full of cuteness.

.

.

Heading through Smugglers Notch in late October after all the foliage had fallen wasn’t as pretty…

.

.

But following this truck and trailer around the tight bends was interesting.

.

.

Vermont, where red barns….

.

.

Windmills…

.

.

And corn are plentiful.

.

.

But mummified Halloween bears are a little harder to find.

.

.

🤣

  1. Aww that truck o’ pups is too cute for words! And yes, COW! I love those bovines, I see them everyday on my drive to work. Both the angus and milking kind, I try not to think too much about the cows I see grazing on the mountain side…..because I love beef as well….sigh. That’s a conundrum I can’t shake. Anyway, awesome pictures of Vermont, love the Mummy bear too!

  2. This is a lovely area too. The windy roads might be too much for my fragile heart. 😳
I have Cows in my future. Or present? Anyhoo…I’ll blog about them soon, I hope.
Butternut Goldens! I wonder if that is a breeder or a type of breed? Anyhoo, they are soo stinking cute!

  3. At first, from the initial side angle I thought the mummy creature was actually a chick-fil-a cow all wrapped up. But on closer inspection of the next shots, I saw those paws with claws. Yup, that is no cow under that wrapping. Nonetheless, I felt mooved to leave a comment on this. The silos around here don’t have the personality of the one shown. Pretty cool.
