.
We’ve had a few snow storms this month and the inches seem to be staying put for now.
.

.
Which makes me happy… but Lord Dudley Mountcatten?
.

.
Not so much. After an impressive bout of crying and pawing at the door for walkies, the husband granted his wish.
.

.
Which resulted in a face plant off the bulkhead doors and a mad sprint back inside.
Snow.
It’s not for everyone.
🤣
.
It must’ve looked so inviting…poor little guy.
Will he have learnt and never again wander out on the enticing, fluffy white carpet?

He likes to exit through the kitchen door and work his way around to the back deck. Guess he didn’t realize snow could be deep.

Poor kitty! We had a Cavalier who felt the same way about snow.

This little guy hates getting his feet wet so I was surprised he even attempted the snow.

He must have mistaken it for something warm and fuzzy.

That is one lucky kitty cat!

Spoiled, but not rotten.

Sprint wants to go out so bad. Nope. Not till the screen door is on. A METAL MESH screen door. I made the mistake of not declawing his front feet. Oops’

I never declaw. Ever.

I don’t like it either but the cost to my HOUSE let alone the furniture. NO more cats.

In all the years we’ve had cats we’ve only had one bad scratcher. He ruined the side of an old chair I wanted to get rid of anyway.

Sprint has gotten chairs,, table legs. DOOR JAMBS, insulation around doors, under doors (he’s figured out to keep grabbing underneath it will eventually open the door to the basement and sends my fuel bill thru the roof). He is the only one I didn’t declaw and he has done more damage in 10 years than 50 years of cats I’ve had.

Yikes. We’ve had new cats that wanted to scratch but I always use a water spritzing bottle on them when they try it and it’s always worked. Sounds like yours is a little devil.

I would use a bottle too but it doesn’t reach the 26 miles from work to home. *sigh*…if only…

His Lordship does not approve of your commentary of his snow adventure fails, lmao.

Good thing he doesn’t read my blog.

Perhaps not one of His Lordship’s most glamourous moments, but he will prevail over the snow…once it is gone.

As fond as I am of the good Lord, better him than the hubby taking the faceplant!

Agreed. His Lordship can bounce back a bit quicker.

I see all the tracks by your feeder from the wildlife and an imagining them all laughing at a fellow furry creature who doesn’t like the snow…

If they were out there at the same time…. I’m sure they would!
