I’ve never worn an apron in my life so I’m well on my way.

Lord Dudley Mountcatten has lived with us for 2 years but never slept on the spare bed… until now. Having made friends with the stuffed platypus it is currently his favorite spot for naps.

Holy crap on a cracker! This makes me very glad I don’t live in Brazil.

I love quick and easy crock pot recipes… and while this sounded like the perfect winter comfort food, I have been unable to find the frozen noodles it requires. Does such a thing even exist? Have you ever seen them…
.
Please do not disturb Dudley 😼? Or…oops I got caught😸. Now what?😽

He’s more than welcome to sleep there, just thought it was funny he discovered a new spot after 2 years.

The only places His Lordship isn’t allowed is on tables and the kitchen counter.

They exist, and they are so much better than dry egg noodles. I also use Reames.

I can’t find them anywhere here!

I’m going to go check the nearby storm drain, I want to make sure we don’t have a “clog.” 🐍

If you had a special friend you wanted to sleep with, wouldn’t you do it on a bed.
Feral is the opposite of domesticated, not domestic. You’ve been feral all your life.
You want frozen noodles: Chuck a package of noodles into the freezer. When frozen, chuck them into the soup!

We have the frozen noodles here at Walmart and other chains. I can’t remember what aisle. I will look next time and let you know. That recipe looks amazing.

Walmart has a brand called Reams Homestyle Frozen Egg Noodles. Think I will try this too … chicken noodle soup is comfort food to me …

That’s what this recipe calls for, Reames. But our Wal Mart doesn’t have them.

I have never seen frozen noodles but that is interesting. Check them in the freezer sounds like a good option. Easy recipe. Good idea.

Feral housewives huh? That’s a reality show wafting to happen if you ask me, lol. Walmart does have frozen noodles, but you don’t shop Wally World so I’m sure that’s why you have never seen them, lol.

I go there for bird seed so I checked. They don’t sell it here.

I don’t think I like the cut of their jib. They just sound as if they’re being awkward to me 😉

Be careful of the “feral” housewife thing. If it is classified as “feral”, then there is a hunting season for it.

After ruining so many t-shirts, I always wear an apron if I’m frying anything. My crock-pot is getting a workout these days. I made beef and barley soup today. I used a big piece of top sirloin that just melted at four hours on high, peas and carrot shreds, for color, and drown the whole thing, cup of barley and all, in a quart of beef stock. It was so good I ate it myself.

I’m not a big barley fan but I do love a crock pot meal.

expensive. What’s wrong with regular noodles?

They’re probably not thick enough to sit in the crock pot that long without disintegrating. And when I try a new recipe for the first time I always like to follow it exactly, then tweak it the second time around.

I’d cook ’em separate and add at the end. Let us know how it turns out!

Just when I think the purr babies are settled into their life routines, they start something new. Mango loved the back of a certain chair (which she clawed, so I covered it with a protective cloth). Then she abandoned it for months so I happily took the decor-ruining cloth off. Guess what I did the other day.
Put the cloth back on. *sigh*

I have to do that with my office chair. It’s black and the fur sticks to it like glue so every time His Highness discovers it … I cover it until he moves on.

THE SNAKE IN THE DRAIN. I will dream about that tonight.
I’ve never seen frozen noodles, but I’m not in the frozen department much, so who knows what they have.

When we first adopted him he slept with me every night. Guess he’s comfortable enough now to ditch me.
I don’t do much frozen either. Just my Tru Fru chocolate covered fruit.
