A few chuckles and a tear.

Just a couple of things that made me smile.

Like this picture of a receipt from our local pub one of the bartenders posted .

I’m afraid to ask what she did to deserve that kind of tip….. but kudos to her all the same.

This photo popped up in my Facebook memories the other day and made me cry.

Our beautiful boy Huffington. A stray who wandered in, stole our hearts and was tragically run over by a car two years later. As a pet lover you always hate to say you have a favorite, but this guy was special.

And to be honest? He got more use out of that exercise bicycle than we did.

      1. I have an offensive lineman, a running back, and three cheerleaders — if I am to follow the football motif. They all have the same food available to them, but their bodies process it differently. The queane of them all has been an anorexic-looking 16 year-old girl ever since we got her though she eats like a horse and took time to have 4 kids, including one who was born monster-sized. (Last time I saw him he weighed about 40 lbs!) Coincidentally, she is finally turning 16 this fall.
So it’s not the quality or the quantity of the food, it’s in the DNA or something.
Our twins, 1 boy 1 girl, are shaped pretty much exactly the same, both short-hairs, but with different colouring, and the girl’s hair is soft as silk while the boy’s hair is like steel wool. But if you can only see their tails you cannot tell them apart.

      2. Ah. The 16 ywar-old might be considered thin, but that is because of age. But really we called her a ditzy teenager because she seemed to be more concerned about her figure. She would lie in what appeared to us to be sexy poses for the father of her children, even though after her first and only litter she hated his guts for trying to ruin her figure, and making her a mother.
She was a great mother, but once the kittens left she told hubby in no uncertain terms he was cut off, FOREVER!
