What’s blooming?

.

Let’s take a walk around the garden, shall we….

.

.

Candy cane dianthus.

Almost good enough to eat.

.

.

A tri color pot of begonias on the kitchen porch.

.

.

A red astilbe, clashing with the barn red barn.

.

.

Pink astible out back.

.

.

I love the blooms on these flowers. They’re delightfully weird.

.

.

I can’t remember what kind of daisies these are, but they’re doing well and no one is eating them… so I really don’t care.

.

.

Purple bee balm.

.

.

A fabulous magenta shade.

.

.

Something purple.

.

.

Something red.

.

.

And something wonderful the woodchucks nibbled down to a nub shortly after I took the picture.

😩

  1. My coneflowers and bee balm are blooming, too. You know that flat metal bird decoration? I have the same thing in rabbit! Also, in that same shot you have another plant besides the astilbe. I can’t remember the name but it’s so, so soft. I’ve tried and tried to grow it but I just can’t, so enjoy it for me, please.

    1. I had a lovely row of coneflowers … pre woodchucks. They’re long gone now.
I never remember the name of those soft things either. I have two in that bed and they used to be huge, until my husband put siding on the building and dug them up, moved them, but broke most of the roots in the process. It’s amazing they survived at all.
