Not quite.

But the first coat of red stain is on the big barn and it looks beautiful to me.

I’m not sure the husband’s thrill factor is quite as high as mine… but he keeps saying “It looks different.” so I’ll take that as a win.

Different.
Well, yes.
That was the point!
And I think baby barn approves….
It’s looking very nice!

Baby Barn looks like a good place to catch a few ZZZZs.

You misspelled “BARN”, it is spelled “P-o-o-l-h-a-l-l”, as I remember it has a billiards table in it.

Billards is stretching it a bit. A scratch and dent pool table from Goodwill that our friends were glad to get rid of is a more accurate description……

Yeah, but “scratch and dent pool table from Goodwill that our friends were glad to get rid of” is a long name for what you constructed

Nice…what a barn should look like. Well up in Maine anyway, barns here look…..like the way your papa barn did before his makeover, lol.

If he had allowed me to put s clear coat sealer over the fresh wood when he built it, I might have left it natural. But the black mood was a definite downer.
