Pandemic humor.

.

Because I’m still trying to laugh.

.

.

Ain’t that the truth! I’ve cooked and baked more in the past two years than I have in the last 20. Which sadly, my hips and thighs can attest to.

.

.

I need one of those.

.

.

This is funny, but not. Our neighbor is a nurse and has been past the point of burnout for a solid year.

.

.

I really hope not, but you can’t argue with the logic.

  1. I hear you, cooking, baking and staying home….oh wait, I’m only unemployed, lol. I have to laugh because if you lose your sense of humor then that’s when you’ve lost the list for life. I’ve experimented with baking bread. I make mini loaves so I won’t eat the whole thing. I think I’ve mastered French omelettes, still trying hollandaise sauce….still scrambled eggs soaked in butter 😕.
I have two cousins in healthcare, this past week one of them caught COVID for the second time. She’s vaccinated and boostered and still got sick again.

  2. If they didn’t do it, who would? But you would think certain governments would be thankful, not press them to work double shifts 7 days a week while taking away benefits and vacation time. And now they want those with Covid to be back at work before they are fit to be back at work. Where is that going to put us? I heard somewhere student nurses are being hired to take the strain off RNS, LNS, and LPNS. THAT can only make things worse, not better! Instead of helping patients experienced nurses are going to be holding the hands of those not yet qualified. “Aw, did you give the patient the wrong drug. They’ré dead now, but next time you’ll know. READ THE DAMN LABEL FIRST!”
