Woke up this morning to an odd light in our front yard.

The sun was shining through little peaks in the clouds and it was positively eerie.

This being Sunday, it was my day to cook for the weekly man cave pool tournament… but this time, I took your advice.

Fresh ham salad and chicken salad sandwiches on flaky croissants.

.
With fruit plate accompaniment. Pretty… and so much less time consuming.

Share your ham salad recipe River! Ham salad isn’t something we eat too much over here. But I’ll try it is it looks good, and your sammies look delicious.

There’s nothing more simple than ham salad.
1 large ham steak, rinsed, dried, trimmed and diced
1/2 large purple onion, diced
Mix with Hellmans mayonnaise until creamy, pepper to taste.
( I use a little mini food processor so my ham and onion are very fine but you can do any size pieces you prefer. )

Ohhh, I have both Hellmans and a mini food processor! I’m in the minority around here, I use nothing but Hellmans. I think I’ll make this for lunch this week, thanks River!

It’s Hellmans or nothing for me. My husband loves ham salad so much I have to be quick to get a sandwich for myself.
