.
It’s amazing how many different things you see when you turn around and head back the same path.
.

.
Beautiful coastline walking south, beautiful coastline walking north. It never gets old.
.

.
Wish I could say the same for my hairdo which was looking a bit worse for wear after battling the constant wind.
.

.
Sparse lone trees.
.

.
Craggy, rock filled shores.
.

.
Oceanfront backyards.
.

.
One desecration of nature, because humans can’t help being destructive.
.

.
The Atlantic Ocean.
.

.
Strategically placed benches.
.

.
The Cliff Walk has it all.
To be continued….

I’d love to find out which random syllable generator was used to name the towns in Maine…

Most of our weird names are of Native American origin. In the Abenaki language, Ogunquit means ‘beautiful place by the sea’.

My son is learning Wyandotte. The language is so different from anything I’ve ever heard that it seems alien.

That must be a challenge. Most native languages look positively unpronounceable to me.

Crazy hair selfies are the best. Take it from someone who knows. They call attention to your great smile.

Can you imagine having one of those backyards that overlooked the beach? Girl, your hair is awesome, windy or not.

It’s a gorgeous spot, but who wants tourists walking by all day? As for the hair, thanks. If nothing else.. there’s lots of it.

I’m in total amazement at the homes right on the coastline. Their backyards will always stay lush and green because of the ocean being literally in their backyard. The moisture helps with that I’m sure and they look so beautiful. Maybe I just need to move up east……🤔. But not sure I could afford it….lol.

Maine is an expensive place to live. Real estate is astronomical and anything near the water? Untouchable. We were lucky to find our place when we did. A few years later it was valued twice what we paid and all we have are puddles.

We don’t visit as often as we should.

I delete most of mine lately. The right angle is getting harder to find.

You really shouldn’t call your hubby a “….Craggy, rock filled shores”–at least not in public!!!

Just trying to pronounce the Cliff name would cause me to walk off it.
