News you can’t use.

.

Seriously, no one needs to know this stuff.

After reading that, I’ve come to the conclusion my beloved Red Sox are just phoning it in. Rather like their playing this season.

.

.

Yeah, right. Do they think I haven’t seen Children of the Corn?

.

.

A three foot long earthworm? That’s a large amount of ick factor.

.

.

Of course it is.

.

.

I’m going to have to take their word for that.

Thank you, but no.

  1. First of all, I was just at a St. Paul Saints game this summer and I have no memory of seeing a ball pig. Now I’m going to have to go back for a second look. Second, because we have Australia in our sights, I’ve been reading Bill Bryson’s book about the country, In a Sunburned Country, and he talked about the humungous earthworms there. They can get to 12 feet long (and 6 inches wide). Then again, that kid is from NZ, not Oz. Maybe they’re unheard of there (until now).

    1. Migrating 12 foot earthworms would be hard to miss, no?
I will need you to attend another game and prove this no pig theory. I can’t be giving out false information , useless is bad enough.

      1. I’m on it. Please hold until next season…

As for the worms, according to Bryson they are more often heard than seen as they move underground. I’ve never heard the sound of one, earthworms being 2-4 inches long here in the land of reasonably sized animals. Or maybe my hearing’s just bad. 👂🪱
