.
A buffet of carrots, green leaf lettuce and raspberries was laid this morning.
And before long there were two nibblers .
.

.
Then there were three.
.

.
And then things started to get interesting.
.
.
Siblings.
Two legged or four, they rarely get along.
.
Is mom in there or are all five babies still hanging around? Geeze they’re cute.

Mom is gone. Haven’t seen her for weeks. Junior from last year is still here as are a few kids..

I see they are putting on their winter fat, lol. Mom probably hit the road for the single life, she got tired of putting up with the kids, now teenagers.

Can’t blame her. The burrow must be running out of room… they’re chonkers.

Do they store it in their cheeks like Hamsters? How Fun!

They don’t. They’re just voracious eaters..

Raspberries are over $4 a punnet here. Those fellows are spoilt…As their fat and delicious-to-a-fox arses attest!

You know, I have yet to spot our woodchuck again after that initial sighting. I wonder if he’s moved on to greener pastures?

Could be. Momma kicks them out of the burrow when they’re grown so they have to search for new territory. Unless they live here and get a daily buffet….

Raspberries? You’re more generous than I am. I usually keep those all to myself. One or two to the bunny if she’s been a very good girl, but that’s it.

To be fair these were starting to get a little mushy, but still…
