Mind blown, I admit it.

.

Remember when I posted this the other day?

.

.

When I said it was crazy to see circles in this collection of what is clearly blocks?

Well, thanks to two blog friends..

I saw them.

I didn’t at first, even after one friend said to look in between the rectangles.

Nope. Didn’t see them.

Then another friend emailed me this color enhanced version.

.

.

Yup.

Clearly a circle.

So I went back numerous times and focused on the space in between two rectangles and I stared.

Then I squinted…

.

.

And bam!

There really are circles. Call it an optical illusion or my brain playing tricks, because as soon as I stopped squinting they disappeared.

But I saw them.

And after a few more tries, I saw them without squinting.

Try it…

And Mark, I expect you to be honest.

Watermelon really is delightful.

🍉🍉🍉

This is not good.

.

As you know, we have always had a resident red squirrel menace.

.

.

I’m sure this isn’t the original terror from years ago, but one of her numerous demon offspring.

.

.

She teases the cat, poops on the patio furniture…

.

.

Shreds the deck posts, excavates passages through the woodshed walls, chews holes in the man cave/Barn Mahal, burrows into the house eaves and builds nests everywhere to continue her accursed family.

.

.

I know this because…

.

.

We’re knee deep in the destructive little bastards right now.

.

.

Not good!

Not good at all….

😫

Maps, glorious maps.

.

Let’s explore…

.

.

I’m surprised Maine is on the higher side of this. Must be the northern half…

.

.

That’s beyond disturbing.

.

.

This is even more so.

😳

.

.

People do love to live near the water.

.

.

I’m surprised more states in my area aren’t green. New Englanders are traditionally frugal.

.

.

I blame Maine’s rate on the lobster. Who wants to eat it without a pound of melted butter…

😉

.

News you can’t use.

.

I’m hoping to run out of these. But it won’t be today…

.

.

I’ve heard of wardrobe malfunctions… but dental is a new one.

.

.

No thank you. At this stage in my reading glasses for everything life … I need bigger, not smaller.

.

.

I call foul on this one.

.

.

Yes, because everyone goes to McDonald’s for the oatmeal.

.

.

Water.

Come on!

.

.

I know I’m not visiting Florida anytime soon.

.

.

No, they haven’t fixed the issues that cause it. They’re just switching to black… which, when you think about it, is more death like.

.

.

Evolving into… what?

*gulp*

😳

.

Is this the blue/gold dress all over again?

.

Take a look at this image and tell me if you see rectangles or circles.

.

.

Like that extremely annoying blue or gold dress, I can’t understand how anyone could possibly see circles here, but apparently they do.

.

.

This explanation seems bizarre to me.

I don’t live near teepees, but I can still distinguish one from an igloo.

The human brain is a strange piece of work.

🥴

.

Random cat nonsense, and a skunk.

.

I don’t know who invented this or where I can get one, but it’s brilliant.

.

.

Anyone who’s ever stepped in a pile of it barefoot will appreciate a warning sign.

.

.

Cats.

There’re always where you don’t want them.

.

.

And as soon as my husband started rolling coins on the ottoman?

Sleeping cat.

.

.

And cat cleaning privates when your human isn’t paying him enough attention.

🤣

.

.

Huh..

So it is.

.

.

Skunks.

.

.

They’re not always black with a white stripe.

.

.

😊

.

What I’m watching.

.

Since we visited many of the Bellevue Avenue “cottages” in Newport, Rhode Island where this series is filmed?

.

.

Watching season three has been a lot more fun.

.

.

Quirky, admittedly kind of silly, but still entertaining… this show about a robot gone rogue stuck on a planet with futuristic hippies is weird, but watchable.

.

.

Brought to you by the creators of Ted Lasso.. which I adored, this tale of a washed up pro golfer seeking redemption is heartwarming and funny with a great soundtrack. Personally I think Ted Lasso was ten times better… but it’s still worth a look.

.

.

Yes, this is my guilty pleasure. I watched Sex and the City back in the day and like a train wreck… I can’t turn away from its sequel, even though I admit it pales in comparison. The girls are older and the raunch factor has been dialed back considerably but the fashion’s still wild and the ride is still fun.

.

.

I loved dinosaurs when I was a kid… and what can I say?

I love them still.

This BBC series brings them to life with computer animation and yes, I’m all in.
