.
The harvests keep on coming.
.
.
Peppers, fennel, radish, celery, bok choy, chard, eggplant, salad greens and spinach.
.
.
Of course it’s fall, so even the eggplants look like pumpkins.
And at the grocery store this week? A run on creamer.
.
.
WTH? Is there a new Covid cure I’m unaware of that requires cream…
Good thing the beer aisle was still fully stocked.
.
.
And if you’re lucky enough to live in an area that stocks Sam Adams? Do yourself a favor and buy their limited edition seasonal. Jack-O Pumpkin is da bomb.
.
.
A four foot rope of sausage? Not so much.
🤢
.
.
Paper towels are still a no go. Except this one lone package… which was on sale. 6 rolls for $13. But look at the regular price. $16. That’s $2.66 a roll!
.
.
With prices like that, is it any wonder people are making their own truck repairs?
.
.
Duct tape. A most versatile product.
.
I have to admit, I’m impressed that the last remaining package of paper towels on the shelf is a reasonably good brand. Usually, if there’s any left, it’s the crappy store brand nobody wants anyway.

Or the equally crappy recycled, “environmentally friendly” paper towels that look like they wouldn’t dry up the tears of a gnat.

Totally useless. No matter how desperate I get I won’t buy those!

That was an oddity. Makes me wonder if someone got it to the register and then found out the price.

Here in Toronto you now have to request TP. The clerk goes to the stock room and gets you max 2 packs per family. 🙄

Wow. Although toilet paper is in full supply here, I rather wish they would do that paper towels now.

I have no trouble getting anything here. I still find this amazing.

Paper towels are rare, everything else is hit or miss. One week they’re out of creamer, next week it’s soup. So weird.

I like Sam Adams Octoberfest Ale, but have never had the pumpkin one. Will look for it around here. Thanks for the suggestion

Your CSA harvest seems like it’s delish, I love eggplant, and fresh fennel? Totes delish!
Duct tape is a go-to fix it all, especially when you poke holes so your hostage can breath….uh…it fixes a lot of things is what I’m trying to say….lol.

It’s been lovely. You can’t get much fresher than picked across the street.

Ah, but duct tape will never replace paper towels!!!

It will not. You’ve got me there.

At least that four foot rope of sausage was made in the USA (according to the label). They say that “patriotism is the last refuge of scoundrels,” so if that products sells well, you either have a lot of scoundrels in your town, or a lot of Trump supporters (now that I think about it, it may be hard to tell the difference).

It was pretty well stocked now that you mention it..

Like Boo said, no issues or shortages here. Went and got Paper towels yesterday. Fully stocked shelves. Same with TP.

We’re able to get paper towels again, but we’ve notice that no matter what the brand, they seem to be a lot thinner than they used to be. As for creamer – since I don’t use it, I’ve never checked on supply levels. I could maybe understand stockpiling the powdered creamer because that keeps a long time – but the liquid? That doesn’t seem to make much sense.

It doesn’t. I do t use it either but the husband has to have one particular local brand and that’s getting harder to find.

I think the wheel well could be trimmed better.
