.
I had a feeling there were baby woodchucks under our barn… and the other day?
.

.
Momma brought one to the buffet.
.

.
An average litter is four, sometimes she has five..
.

.
But there always seems to be one brave little scamper who ventures out first.
.

.
This little guy showed up for carrots by himself yesterday.
.

.
But he doesn’t quite have the standing up/balancing thing under control yet.
.
.
Watch the clip until the end.
🤣
.
“I totally meant to do that! I was checking out that tree behind me.”

Whoopsidaisy!
Of my 4 little opossums, only 1 is still around. It’s fur color recently changed from white to brown, but I know it by it’s round “mouse” ears.

We get the occasional opossum, but have never seen babies here.

I think this year was the first time a litter was born in my garage.

I’ve been bowled over by delicious food before, but never like that. He looked totally unfazed – so cute!
