Sarcastic comment loading.... one moment please.

I love these things.

.

I’m going to take a minute to highlight a few products that I love… because good things must be shared.

.

.

Bar none the best facial cream I’ve ever used.

It’s light as air and goes on so smoothly you hardly feel it.

.

.

That being said, it’s so rich and loaded with wrinkle busting moisture a tiny dab is all you need.

Good thing too, because it’s not cheap.

.

.

Fresh cut grass is here for summer and while I enjoy many Mrs Meyers scents, this one is my fave.

.

.

Forget expensive pedicures, buff those heels and slather on this special sauce. They’ll soften up in no time.

.

.

For the life of me I can’t remember where I bought these, but if you see them? The scents are divine…

.

.

We have high iron content in our well water, which means I’ll never have anemia… but does make for rusty colored toilets. Think is the absolutely only product that works. One spritz and we’re back to pearly white.

.

.

Curly haired girls unite. This non sticky mousse is perfect for holding the curl without feeling tacky. I work it through my hair after shampooing, then air dry for a while before styling. Lightweight, without a heavy scent… it’s been my go to for years.

.

News you can’t use.

.

It’s useless, but so am I most days.

.

.

And I thought the only thing buried in the Meadowlands swamp was dead mobsters…

Huh.

.

.

$200k per…?

Not sure that’s what I’d call a deal.

.

.

And so it begins…

.

.

Self preservation is probably something we shouldn’t have taught it.

😳

.

.

Hang on Texas.

Life is about to get… buggy.

.

.

I refuse to blame the Camembert…

.

.

Oh good.

Something else to look forward to.

.

Random nonsense.

.

My pickle algorithm seems to be ramping up again and along with disgusting recipes for pickle soup and pickle cupcakes I saw this…

.

.

I was unaware Pittsburgh was pickle crazy before reading this article.

.

.

But I must say, they seem to have embraced the briny green spear with a disturbing enthusiasm.

.

.

Why do I get these ads?

😳

.

.

After my recent medical fiasco?

That made me snort.

.

.

I’m middle ground least common.

How about you?

.

Garden fluff and one very chill squirrel.

.

My new garden bed is starting to fill in…

.

.

But I wish the woodchucks hadn’t eaten all my mid summer blooms. So much for strategically timed planting.

.

.

The geraniums are doing well.

.

.

I was a bit late getting these in due to my mystery illness, but they’re flourishing now.

.

.

Our Japanese Spirea surprised me this year by branching off in white on the right side.

.

.

It’s always been solid pink…

.

.

But not anymore.

.

.

Close up of its fuzzy blooms.

The bees love it.

.

.

And yes, that’s one entirely too chill red squirrel.

.

There’s a new toy at Casa River.

.

My husband went to Lowe’s for some weed wacker string the other day.

.

.

So of course he came home with a new $800 battery operated lawn mower.

.

.

Oh, it’s fancy.

.

.

Multi speed self propelled motor, dual blades, telescopic adjustable handle…

.

.

So fancy it took him 15 minutes to figure out how to start it.

.

.

There’s so much extra tech… it came with three instruction manuals.

And neon green mulching blades.

And a detachable cell phone carrier.

It even has a cup holder.

🥴

.

.

I told him it looked like a Tesla.

He was not amused.

.

.

There was a learning curve and it took him a little while to get used to it. But then he was off and running…

.

.

To he honest, I don’t think he loves it as much as he thought he would.

Not that he’d ever admit it.

😉

And no, He doesn’t push mow our whole back lawn. Just around the house, garden beds, barn and tighter spaces.

.

Mind blown, I admit it.

.

Remember when I posted this the other day?

When I said it was crazy to see circles in this collection of what is clearly blocks?

Well, thanks to two blog friends..

I saw them.

I didn’t at first, even after one friend said to look in between the rectangles.

Nope. Didn’t see them.

Then another friend emailed me this color enhanced version.

.

.

Yup.

Clearly a circle.

So I went back numerous times and focused on the space in between two rectangles and I stared.

Then I squinted…

.

.

And bam!

There really are circles. Call it an optical illusion or my brain playing tricks, because as soon as I stopped squinting they disappeared.

But I saw them.

And after a few more tries, I saw them without squinting.

Try it…

And Mark, I expect you to be honest.

Watermelon really is delightful.

🍉🍉🍉

This is not good.

.

As you know, we have always had a resident red squirrel menace.

.

.

I’m sure this isn’t the original terror from years ago, but one of her numerous demon offspring.

.

.

She teases the cat, poops on the patio furniture…

.

.

Shreds the deck posts, excavates passages through the woodshed walls, chews holes in the man cave/Barn Mahal, burrows into the house eaves and builds nests everywhere to continue her accursed family.

.

.

I know this because…

.

.

We’re knee deep in the destructive little bastards right now.

.

.

Not good!

Not good at all….

😫

Maps, glorious maps.

.

Let’s explore…

.

.

I’m surprised Maine is on the higher side of this. Must be the northern half…

.

.

That’s beyond disturbing.

.

.

This is even more so.

😳

.

.

People do love to live near the water.

.

.

I’m surprised more states in my area aren’t green. New Englanders are traditionally frugal.

.

.

I blame Maine’s rate on the lobster. Who wants to eat it without a pound of melted butter…

😉

.

News you can’t use.

.

I’m hoping to run out of these. But it won’t be today…

.

.

I’ve heard of wardrobe malfunctions… but dental is a new one.

.

.

No thank you. At this stage in my reading glasses for everything life … I need bigger, not smaller.

.

.

I call foul on this one.

.

.

Yes, because everyone goes to McDonald’s for the oatmeal.

.

.

Water.

Come on!

.

.

I know I’m not visiting Florida anytime soon.

.

.

No, they haven’t fixed the issues that cause it. They’re just switching to black… which, when you think about it, is more death like.

.

.

Evolving into… what?

*gulp*

😳
