.
One of these things is not like the others.
.
.
Which makes me wonder what that poor bird did to be ostracized.
.
.
And speaking of wild turkeys, did you know they make excellent snow shovelers?
.
.
We cleared the path but they’re enlarging the dining room.
And speaking of paths…
.
.
Now that the man cave is being readied, more shoveling is required after every storm.
.
.
Welcome… one and all.
.
.
Aside from the wreaths on our home’s windows, this was the extent of my lackluster Christmas decorating this year.
.
.
Snowflakes lights in the Barn Mahal. Battery powered and on a timer.
Ho! Ho! Hum…
.
.
And while Christmas will feel a lot different this year, there are some things to look forward to.
.
.
The police will be very busy!!!
When is the open house party for the new barn???

I’m afraid we’re waiting for the 2020 plague to subside before the grand opening ceremony….

First…book a year in advance, but it is free. And yeah, that Turkey is not ostracized, he just got first watch. Your Marine hubby should have noticed that.

More than likely hubby was out in the man cave when I took the picture and not available for comment. But I like the sentry idea better than a flock of turkey bullies.

Love watching the turkey finish clearing the dining area. I think you should give him a little extra something as a tip.

I enjoy watching their antics… but they tend to poop a lot, so the husband is not a fan.

The red barns – big, and baby – look lovely against the white, snowy landscape. Your holiday decorations make it even lovelier. Happy holidays to you and yours, and 2021 can’t get here fast enough π

What a beautiful barn and scenery! Merry Christmas to you and yours! I think that turkey enjoys his aloneness. At least this turkey does at times!

I enjoy alone time as well, although this year has tested those limits.
Merry Christmas!
