Sharing some things that made me smile.
I saw the first Baltimore Oriole of the season yesterday and rushed to fill the feeder before they move on.
.

.
They’re such glorious bursts of winged color I try to keep them around as long as I can.
.

.
Perfect for that new Stephen King book.
.

.
Because Lord Dudley Mountcatten always makes me smile.
.

.
This would definitely make me smile.

Bluebirds.
Always pretty, always look mean.
What have they got to be mad about?
.
Bluebirds only get mad if someone is staring at them for no reason…

I can’t see that video.

Sorry. It’s an old song titled STILL THE BLUEBIRD SINGS, sung by Bing Crosby. It’s probably not your kind of music anyway, but I thought it fit.

It would. And this one certainly isn’t singing.

Amazing! It’s usually us foreigners who can’t watch American videos. This one works for me!

I haven’t been able to see a lot of them lately. The links don’t even work.

Hmmmm. Have you cleaned your data storage lately, and closed and reopened your device. I’m not a geek, but that was what a geek told me to do, and it worked — for me.

Whats the jam looking stuff in the feeder?
I have a bookmark that looks like a crocodile emerging from the book.

It’s all natural grape jelly. They adore it…

Bluebirds always look mean because they ARE always mean. The bookmark? Oh, yeah. I want one. There are lots of other things I can do with that book mark that do not involve a book.

Ha!
Then I think you definitely need one….

Baltimore Orioles eat grape jelly and oranges? Maybe if the bluebirds ate some they wouldn’t be so pissed off about what their pissed off about, lol. His Lordship and his vampy teeth will make anyone smile. That punch recipe looks good, I’m going to try it.

I buy meal worms especially for the bluebirds. They need to lose the attitude…

That’s a great Dudley pic. That belly needs a good rubbin’.

Others you’re apt to lose skin.

The punch makes me frown because I can’t have any. We have (had) that same cylindrical bird feeder. My wife filled it up the other day but forgot to hang it back up, leaving it sitting on the table out front of the rig. Damn squirrels ran off with it.

The squirrels don’t bother ours, but the raccoons drag it off to the woods occasionally.

Those usually come in with the Orioles here… but none yet.

Bluebird, not blue jay. Though lord knows we have plenty of those as well.

These made me smile too.
We don’t get blue birds or orioles. BUT, I never leave those kinds of treats for them! I now know…❤️

Orioles are funny. The orange color attracts them and if you spot one? You’d better rush the treats outside because they won’t return. I used to put up an Oriole nectar feeder as well but the raccoons destroyed 5 of them so I quit.

I can imagine all of the critters who would be attracted by that type of feeder!

Say what now?

Once you spit an Oriole you have to lure them back with sliced oranges and grape jelly. If they don’t like your treats, they won’t visit again.

Jelly and Oranges? YOU ARE THE BEST!!
I love how many varieties you get to enjoy at your feeder.
Love the book mark and the Happy As Hell Feline.
