Never let it be said our little Lord doesn’t know how to relax.
.

.
After two and a half months with us, he seems to be quite comfortable.
.

.
Not one to exert himself unnecessarily, he’s also been known to eat his meals lying down.
.

.
Very Nero-esque.
.

.
And when the little Roman is through?
.
.
It’s time for a nap.
.
.
Lord Dudley Mountcatten is relaxed and finally feeling like this is home.
.

.
He’s adjusting to our routine and no longer runs at loud noises.
.

.
The vacuum cleaner is still regarded as an evil entity, but he’ll happily sit at my feet while I blow dry my hair.
.

.
The living room furniture seems to be his favorite…
.

.
And I have to say I’m a bit jealous at how much sound sleep he gets.
.

.
Life is good for this little guy.
And us.
😊

While relaxing on the barn porch the other afternoon…..

Our peace and quiet was disturbed by one very perturbed rodent.

Momma squirrel was back and chattering up a storm.
She was scrambling up and down the posts.

Running back and forth along the eaves.

And most definitely making her presence known.
Her memory is long.
And apparently all has not been forgiven.
Where there's only one step from the sublime to the ridiculous.
