Since we visited many of the Bellevue Avenue “cottages” in Newport, Rhode Island where this series is filmed?

Watching season three has been a lot more fun.

Quirky, admittedly kind of silly, but still entertaining… this show about a robot gone rogue stuck on a planet with futuristic hippies is weird, but watchable.

Brought to you by the creators of Ted Lasso.. which I adored, this tale of a washed up pro golfer seeking redemption is heartwarming and funny with a great soundtrack. Personally I think Ted Lasso was ten times better… but it’s still worth a look.

Yes, this is my guilty pleasure. I watched Sex and the City back in the day and like a train wreck… I can’t turn away from its sequel, even though I admit it pales in comparison. The girls are older and the raunch factor has been dialed back considerably but the fashion’s still wild and the ride is still fun.

I loved dinosaurs when I was a kid… and what can I say?
I love them still.
This BBC series brings them to life with computer animation and yes, I’m all in.
After receiving worrying numbers on my blood tests, I waited for my primary doctor to contact me.
And waited.
And waited…
I called, but she wasn’t there.
I asked for a call back, but she never did.
So I succumbed to the technology I hate and sent her a message on the infernal digital portal.

Their statement…

At the end of the second day?
I got this.
.

Which puzzled and pissed me off… until I realized it fulfilled their two day time limit on answers and probably saved them grief from the powers that be.
Didn’t help me any though.
The next day?
This…

Let me get this straight…
I was sick, so I went to the doctors.
They drew blood to see why I was sick.
The results came back abnormal and the reason they give…. is because I was sick?
What kind of twisted medical merry go round is that? I know I was sick, that’s why I went and had blood drawn.
WTF?
Abnormal, but no reason given.
Abnormal, but not abnormal enough to worry.
It’s a good thing I’ve started to feel better by myself because they certainly weren’t helpful.
As a bread lover, this is a tough one for me. I’ve enjoyed cheddar bay biscuits and breadsticks, but the quality isn’t always consistent. CB’s biscuits used to be divine but have shrunken to almost elvish proportions over the years. And while the rustic brown loaves are tasty…
I think I’m going to have to say Texas Roadhouse yeast rolls for the win. They’re always fresh and the accompanying honey butter sends these over the top on my yum-o-meter. Ironically, I don’t care for the cocktails or the food at that restaurant so we rarely if ever go…. but I fondly remember the doughy goodness.
