And I have to admit, I felt for the little guy.

While I’ve never broken into an actual liquor store, I’ve definitely over imbibed and paid the price.

This fellows escapades made good copy and soon after the story was everywhere….

And while the story itself was funny, the aftermath made me laugh as well.

Remember when I found that adorable opossum site a while back and said I wanted one for a pet?
Well….
I found another site.

And now I think I need a raccoon as well.

As a Christmas gift it sure beats a toaster.

When my husband was young and living on the farm, his father rescued an injured baby raccoon that had been hit by a car. Not wanting to release it back in the wild because it limped.. they adopted him and named him Teddy.
Somewhere I have a picture of the hubs as a teenager lying on the couch with Teddy. Talk about cute!

We have a raccoon who visits nightly. And while he’s a cute, pudgy old fellow… he’s extremely destructive when it comes to our birds feeders. Every morning we wake up to one or two on the ground, often in pieces. A month ago I started taking them down at dusk and putting them in the garage overnight. When I went to bed early last week and forgot? The husband got lazy and left them on the kitchen porch.

We’ve been busy with other things outside, but I’m still managing to keep Amazon afloat during the pandemic.
And if you’re dying to read the new Hunger Games book? Don’t bother, it was rather disappointing. And while I’d given up on Stephen King… this new collection of short stories has my late BIL in it again, thinly disguised but still recognizable to those who knew him. He and Stephen went to school together.
And no, I won’t tell you which character. I’m evil that way.
The fabulous rose I planted last year has finally decided to bloom.
And it was worth waiting for.
On another note, isn’t it great when your friends get you?
My girlfriend gave me this the other day and damn, it’s perfect!

Our raccoon decided to take a bath, dig through my garden bed and then attempted to climb up the garage the other night.
Why? I have no idea.
But even I can’t argue with that.
